ACCORDION – BEGINNER LEVEL | Required Skills: None
The beginning accordion class will include an introduction to the instrument, simple playing techniques such as fingering, scales, and octaves, basic Cajun stylings, and some Cajun tunes as well.
BIO
Roger plays keyboards and Cajun accordion, and has been involved with Wheatland for many years. He was a member of the music staff at Jay Ungar’s Ashokan Southern Week for several years, teaching beginning accordion and playing keyboards in the house Zydeco and Honky Tonk bands.
