Wheatscouts! w/John Warstler @ Wheatland Music Organization | Remus | Michigan | United States

John Warstler, from The Johns, is coming for a solo performance!

John Warstler plays a wide variety of guitar styles and has produced three solo CD’s thus far showcasing his fingerstyle guitar playing. He also plays rhythm guitar in high powered Celtic and Old-Time Traditional bands. He is also a semi-retired speech/language pathologist who has played for his preschool and Kindergarten students on a daily basis for the past several year. Helping the student development their phonemic awareness skills and language skills through original and classic children songs has been very gratifying. He very much enjoys entertaining and interacting with children. John’s performances will directly involve the children in his songs and fun will be had by all.

As always, there will be a snack and time to run around and play and enjoy this absolutely amazing weather we are having.

The Classroom in the Gladys Wernette Building

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This children’s program was started at Wheatland in 1987 with the purpose of educating children through music, dance, storytelling, crafts and nature while promoting family tradition and fellowship.
Wheatscouts also gives the adults a chance to bond with other grown-ups while turning the little ones loose for a couple of hours.
Wheatscouts meet during the months from October – May, and are scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11am till 1pm in the Gladys Wernette building on the Wheatland Music site. Each season opens with a Fall Wheatscouts Family Campout, held on site at Wheatland.
Wheatscouts is offered free of charge, is open to the public and a small healthy snack will be provided. (Feel free to bring a snack to share as well) Each gathering is uniquely themed, so stay tuned to both the Wheatland website and Wheatscouts Facebook Group for up-to-date information.
If you would like additional information regarding Wheatscouts or to be added to the email list you may call the WMO Office at 989-967-8879 or email at wmo.office@wheatlandmusic.org.
