2021 Program & Event Changes – Letter from Executive Director

News / NotesTo our Friends and Supporters:

As an Organization, we have had to make some hard decisions over the past few months.  As we move forward to 2021, our priority remains the same – to do what is best for the safety and well being of our staff, volunteers, performers and community members.

At the Board of Directors meeting on October 13, 2020, the board voted to cancel the following 2021 in-person and virtual events; Winter Wheat, Traditional Arts Weekend and Summer Wheat Music Camp.  Instead, we will be focusing our time and resources on holding a 2021 festival; in whatever form it might be.  We have hopes it will be an in-person festival; although it might look different than it has in the past.  Time will tell on that.

>We wish to thank you for all the donations and support we have received, and hope we can continue to count on that in the future.
