2003 Photos

Peggy Brisbane started photographing the musicians at the Wheatland Festival in 1983 and has photographed most of the festivals since then. She feels the festival is historically significant and needs to be documented to leave a record of the music, traditions and volunteer spirit of the event.

She has worked at Central Michigan University as a photographer for the past 20 years.
Peggy lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Robert Barclay who is also a photographer and host of “The Juke Joint” on WCMU Public Radio.
