Our Board

Wheatland Music Organization, Inc. is considered a ‘directorship’ organization, meaning that the Board of Directors makes nominations, elections and decisions. According to our by-laws, nominations for board positions may also come from the membership.  The Board is interested in hearing your comments and/or suggestions. These may be directed to the Board of Directors by snail mail or email. All correspondence will be read.

BOARD ELECTIONS

Nominations may be made by any presently serving board member, or by “open nomination” from the membership, made in person, at a meeting of the Board two months prior to elections.  Open nominations shall be accompanied by a written resume specifying the candidate’s qualifications to serve, including evidence of his/her active participation in, contributions and commitment to, and awareness of the Organization’s mission.
