Volunteer training and orientation is a big reason that we have a successful organization. If you have not attended a volunteer training, are a first time volunteer or just want to refresh your volunteer skills, volunteer training is the place to be.
The dates for the 2013 trainings are May 18, 2013 – 9am-5pm and August 10, 2013 – 9am-5pm.
A free continental breakfast starts the Saturday at 8:30am with orientation beginning at 9:00am. At our pot-luck lunch, a delicious entrée will be provided by WMO, but we ask that you bring a dish to pass.
WMO does provide child care for children ages 3 and up, with advanced notice.
If attending the volunteer training, you are invited to stay the weekend on the festival grounds. Arrival is after 5:00pm on Friday, and we must be gone by Sunday at noon. Evenings are filled with visiting, music, walking around this beautiful property, laughter and making new friends.
It is very important that you RSVP to the WMO Office at least one week prior to the training.
