Dances and Jamborees

Jamborees

Jamborees are held on the first Saturday of the month (except September) in the Cabin on the Wheatland Music site near Remus, MI, beginning at 2 PM. This informal gathering is free of charge and open to the public. Musicians of all levels are welcomed. Please note that this is for acoustic music only.

Traditional Dancing

These dances will feature live old-time traditional acoustic music provided by local musicians and callers. Dances will begin at 7:30 PM in the Gladys Wernette building on the Wheatland Music site near Remus, MI, and are open to the public. All dances are taught and beginners are welcome. No partner is required. $5 per person at the door.

Note from Wayne:  Square Dancing is friendship set to music.  All ages welcome.  Come join in the fun.  No experience necessary.  You will be taught everything.  Tanke part in an activity you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
