Jo McLachlan: To know Wheatland is to know Jo! She can be found teaching a Mountain Dulcimer Class, dancing, or running around the grounds every year. Jo was a Board Member at Wheatland for many years and is known and loved by all!!!Julie Anne Brewer: Julie has been teaching Hammered Dulcimer at Wheatland for about 10 years now! In addition to the scheduled class she can also be found helping out a player at the campsite, or heading up the Slow Jams on Friday and Saturday night. Julie is a member of “Thistle Dew” and “The Broken Glass Sting Band”
Rick Thum: Rick is a Wheatland staple. He can be found teaching a class in the Dulcimer Tent, selling instruments and music in his booth or playing for a dance with his group. A great teacher and lively performer, Rick is a breath of fresh air!
Doug Berch: From the Mountain Dulcimer to the Hammered Dulcimer, Doug will show you the ropes. He shares Chording, Melodies and Improvisational playing on both instruments with a refreshing and run style.
Wanda Degen: Wanda is a long time Wheatland Instructor on the Mountain Dulcimer and the Autoharp. This year she will focus on various levels of the Autoharp, and we think you will hear some great tunes coming out of her classes.
